The Glass:

We used a stemless martini glass with a large ice cube. This is a good way to drink it as a sipper and keep the dilution to a minimum.

What is Chambord?

Chambord liqueur is a delicious black raspberry liqueur made in Chambord France. It has a beautiful deep rich berry color. It tastes like a rich raspberry juice.

Chambord is a perfect companion to Skrewball peanut butter whiskey. The two together create a wonderful flavor experience.

When I make a Peanut butter sandwich I LOVE raspberry jam on it. Chambord is my jam. It’s wonderful in this drink.

Peanut Butter and Jelly Cocktail with Cranberry Juice:

Cranberry juice can be used in place of the Chambord. The cranberry juice should be unsweetened. Using cranberry juice will cut the sweetness of the drink if you aren’t a fan of sweet cocktails. Here is an easy recipe to follow when using cranberry juice:

  1. Add ice into a cocktail shaker
  2. Pour in 2 oz of Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey
  3. Pour in 1 oz of Unsweetened Cranberry Juice
  4. Add 1/4 oz of Triple Sec
  5. Place the lid on the shaker and shake until cold.
  6. Add ice into a martini glass
  7. Pour the drink over ice
  8. Add raspberries for garnish
  9. Enjoy the drink while it is perfectly chilled

How to Make This into a Peanut Butter and Jelly Shot:

This whiskey drink is technically too large to be a shot as the recipe is written.

We enjoy it for sipping. the mingled flavors are just too good to gulp In my opinion. But if you want to throw it back. Make a shot.

To make this a shot just cut the recipe down by half. Then it will fit in your 1 1/2 oz. shot glass.

Skrewball is definitely a sipping whiskey... and should be kept in the freezer. It's a great end-of-the-day, rocking-chair-on-the-porch, wind-down-and-relax kind of drink. Please don't add ice or try to throw it back in a shot! It is already very sweet so I'm not sure I would add another layer of sweetness, but to each their own!
